Spark Orthodontics of Harrisburg

Everytime my daughter visits this office there’s an issue. 2 visits ago, they left pieces of wire in the crack of her molar. Last time they left 3 out of 4 wires too long at the end that I had to make another appt and have them cut bc they were digging in her cheeks. Yesterday, she wasn’t able to brush her teeth prior to putting new bands and wires in. They left a rubber band in her mouth after they said they were done. She had to fish it out. I do not recommend this office at all. I highly recommend the CampHill office.

They never sent a reminder email or text or call, when we arrived they took the x rays and said that when the insurance gets back to them that they will call and let us know if they approved it or not in order for them to move forward, my son has a scheduled oral surgery in the next upcoming week and the surgeon wanted the opinion of the orthodontist prior to surgery to see what their opinion is in regards to his plan for my son but there was no doctor on site and we were told that it would take weeks for the insurance to get back to them and more like they just wanted to brush us off and hurry us to leave, this was my first experience with them and I am very disappointed! And now my son will be going through the surgery with no opinion from an orthodontist!

I was inconvenienced because they didn’t complete photos and an X-ray series (which I didn’t know) and had to go back the following week. When I arrived, they didn’t even know why I was there. When taking photos- using the mouth stretching tools, it was quite uncomfortable, and I expressed discomfort- politely, mind you. After, the employee led me past a table of workers. She rolled her eyes in the direction of her colleagues (meaning I was “that” patient) which made them all smirk. It was blatantly obvious. This was completely unprofessional and unwarranted. Normally, this location is fine.

I loved my experience today at SPARK ORTHODONTICS…Everything was smooth easy and explained thoroughly …The decision to get braces wasn’t an easy one but SPARK definitely took all the guess work out of it. BIG KUDOS to KATHY her bubbly personality and attention to detail was spot on!!! She deserves a raise…SERIOUSLY!!!

All staff was nice and respectful we waited no more than ten minutes to go to back to get exrays everything went well now we just waiting for our next appointment.
