My adorable wild sassy dog child came into my life a year ago and I’ve had a lot trouble finding a good vet with my dog before Emma. When I got Emma I found Southport Animal Hospital and saw Dr. Jones and he was amazing. I just came back for our second visit and I can’t say enough praise for the entire team at Southport Animal Hospital! Everyone is so kind and patient. Dr. Jones is very knowledgable, kind and makes sure you understand what’s happening and always knows how to fix your fur baby. I am so grateful I found this office! You can trust this office with your babies!! They are reasonably priced and I can say they are there to care for your animals not for the money. Thank you thank you Southport Animal Hospital!! You deserve all the praise!

Caring and knowledgeable staff. They have taken such great care of our senior beagle Oreo. From explaining a lengthly medical history in simple terms, getting him in last minute for an infection, and making sure to cover all bases with his care. We know they have his best interest at heart. Thank you!

This vet is located in SouthPort, NC. I was at Holden Beach, NC with my family and the two new “monsters” of my life Sophie & Zumi. They are Puppy Mill rescues from an organization called “FurBabies”. Google them please. If you can need a wonderful dog this is your spot for a rescue dog. Anyway, mine are two scared of everything Shih Tzu’s. I have had them about 3 months and this was their first long ride and trip. Sophie late on Thursday got a sand spur on her lip! I worked on it and got it lose.But stuck.I looked up local vets all night and started calling about 8:15am Friday. They all said no. Until this vet said be here at 11.Oh thank goodness! She was really in pain by now.As I called each one I deleted the screenshot from the night before.I deleted the wrong one and went to the wron

Our Golden Retriever had a paw issue we were concerned about. The first available appointment was three days away. After scheduling that appointment, we soon got a call that one of their employees gave up their pet's appointment so our pet could get in sooner. I won't call out her name here, but she knows who she is. I am so impressed by her generosity. The vet and assistant were awesome during the appointment. So caring. Both my dogs like the staff here. So do we.

They always do a great job with our pups. Dr. T and staff are always pleasant, kind and helpful. Even my nervous little guy was comfortable enough with them to let them draw his blood easily.
