Southland Health & Rehabilitation

We had a family member in temporary care at Southland Health & Rehabilitation, and we were very pleased with the experience. The staff was kind, attentive, and truly compassionate during a time that could have been very stressful for our family. The nurses and therapists kept us informed and made sure our loved one felt comfortable and supported throughout their stay. The facility was clean and well-maintained, and it was clear the team genuinely cares about their patients. We are very grateful for the care they provided and would confidently recommend them to others.

My daughter is a permanent resident at Southland. She has a tramatic brain injury and can't do for herself, so we heavily rely on the staff to totaly care for our daughter. We have experienced caring staff who have gotten to know her and not only cares for her but stops in to say hello!. Management follows up with us to check in and see if we have any concerns and if we do they are addressed in a timely manner. These folks here work hard and still keeps a smile on their faces. The food is also appetizing, at 3 meals per day, with snacks offered during the day. We visit several times throughout the week and we see what's going on and how hard everyone works. I feel like they are party of my extended family here. All of the therapist that have worked with our daughter is very helpful

I was in Southland Oct.2025. I was very satisfied with the PT team. Yugi and Barbara were the best. Before a room was available on the 500 wing I was taken to the 300 wing for 2 days. Day time staff was very good but 2nd and 3rd staff very rude and did not speak English very well. The rooms need up dating, very depressing for people trying to get well. I did have roaches in my room. Let me be clear on the Physical therapy I was pleased and treated well with CNA and staff on 500 wing. Again PT was very good.

Overall the service my family member received was great. They were very attentive and knowledgeable about how I should proceed with future plans and how to rehab once discharged. I would recommend this facility to any everyone 10 times out of 10.

The most nastiest place i ever been to. The workers are rude.well most of them My love one been here for two weeks and we’ve already having problems.most recent one his pull up haven’t been changed since 8:30 pm and the night nurse didn’t come in until 4:45am to change him then complained that his bed was soaked. I wouldn’t wish this place on my worst enemy
