Southern Cove Medical Associates

Love Southern Cove and all of the staff and doctors. I have been with the Roaring Springs office for at least 10 years. Loved every doctor that I ever had and they do seem to be able keep the same doctors on staff. I agree that $40 to forward records is wrong but that is an administrative fee. Giving the entire staff a one star rating is not fair. I was surprised to see that Southern Cove had such a low overall rating and it was because of the low ratings concerning the $40. Your rating of one star reflects on the entire staff.

I've been a patient with SCMC since 1994. When I had my first heart attack, Duane Filling was assigned as my PCP. We have been friends ever since. The entire staff has been so compassionate,caring, and flexible. Thank you SC for all you've done for me.

So after years of being with Southern Cove I need to relocate to Shippensburg. The doctor office I chose to relocate to asked Southern Cove for my medical records. As a result SC called me and told me they want $25 to release MY records! I then asked why and I was promptly told it was for the cost of ink and paper! WTH!!! For one thing this is 2020. The records are sent electronically. For another thing I don't think my records would cost any more than a dollar or two for paper and ink! This is robbery and unethical in my opinion! And it's not like I received the best medical care from them. All they ever did for me was send me to specialist for any ailment I ever had! Of course that was after they collected my $40 copays! STAY AWAY I also wish I could mark negative stars!

"Doctor" jill madden is patronizing, condenscending and a total (b) witch. Very rude and dismissive. Request to not be seen by her. She talks to you like you are a child and has a very demanding bedside manner. If I could give less than a one star rating I would. The rest of the staff is wonderful. Her? AVOID AVOID AVOID.

My doctor leaves the practice and they stated it would cost me 40 dollars to send a fax of my records.
