Customer Reviews
Alyssa is one of those personalities that you can just naturally feel comfortable around which is what I found most appealing from the start. I brought to her attention that I deal with a lot of knee pain and lower back pain from previous injuries. She released so much stress and tension in those areas. I have continued to use the techniques she showed me and my pain is now non-existent. I also find myself being an over thinker and an anxious person. After my appointment, I found myself feeling renewed and calm. My appointment was well worth it!!
We love Dr. Alyssa and truly believe in the work she does. After enduring colic with my first child, I was determined not to go down that path when my second child started showing symptoms. I heard the same answers from traditional medicine. “He’ll grow out of it, let’s start on reflux medicine.. it may or may not help, as long as he’s gaining weight, he’s fine..etc, etc.” Dr. Alyssa was recommend to us and after just one session, we noticed a difference in our 4 week old baby. She reassured me as a postpartum mom that there was a solution She has not only helped our baby become a HAPPY thriving newborn, but me as a postpartum mom and our nursing journey.. We are so grateful for her work and cannot recommend her enough!!
I had developed severe carpal tunnel syndrome from years of computer work. Even with braces, the pain was getting to the point that I may have to quit my job. My doctor wanted me to get surgery and I'd heard mixed reviews on results. A friend recommend Dr. Alyssa, and I was skeptical, but willing to try anything before surgery. Bottom line. She cured, not just lessened, my symptoms. I'm still amazed. One thing she's taught me is that everything is connected. If your body is not functioning properly in one area, it could very well be because something else is not right in another area. She is truly amazing, professional, and compassionate.
Alyssa started working with me in February of this year. I have known her for years, and she kept at me about getting into her after she put so much into learning this technique for unwinding the body. I had a stiffness in my neck and shoulders for a minimum of the last two years, and as a hair stylist, it was making my life and career so much harder to make it day to day. After the first appointment I was able to move my head from side to side, which I hadn’t been able to do for at least a year. Stiff, it was stiff. I’ve been back three times so far, and let me tell you, women especially, you have no idea how much you hold on to, until you are able to start letting it all go. I highly recommend Alyssa’s massage to anyone, every one! This was the last resort before seeking orthopedic car
I’ve had knee pain for as long as I can remember. I was pigeon-toed as a child, and no one ever really connected the dots or gave me lasting relief—until Alyssa. When she worked on me, it wasn’t just about muscles and joints. She was able to gently unwind trauma that had been stored in my body since childhood. It felt like layers were coming off—physically and emotionally. For the first time, I understood the connection between how I was holding my body as a child and the pain I’d carried into adulthood. After just a few sessions, the knee pain that had followed me my whole life was gone. But it didn’t stop there. I also had intense neck pain—so bad that even an hour in the car left me hurting. That’s gone now, too. And beyond the physical relief, Alyssa helped regulate my nervous system
