Melanie Massey Physical Therapy

We are going to say that this is the most accurate review over the last 8 years. I started going to Melanie Massey Physical Therapy in September of 2017. I’ve went 3 times a week for the last 8 years. I just started going twice a week last month. I have a spinal cord injury at level C3. That means I should only be able to move my body below my ears and breathe with a ventilator. They would wheel me in the clinic using a sling and lift. I looked like a pile of vanilla pudding dumped on the therapy mat. My future was quite dark and uncertain. I’m in a wheelchair now, drive my own truck, have my own boat, hunt, fish and mow my own yard. None of this would be possible without the love and support of my therapy team over the years. They started out great but after about a year they started to drop the ball when it came to my child. It started with things like not taking her to the bathroom and letting her pee on herself, to telling me she was "bad" so she didn't get candy then cancelling her scheduled therapy in place of another child. The first two happening mutual times. I finally said enough was enough and pulled my child to go to another therapy center. They then fought me for 2 months on getting discharge papers. Telling me it was a hipa violation. So needless to say I wouldn't recommend this place for your children.

This is a great place to help with early intervention. The people who work with the kids are great. There is a kid friendly atmosphere here. They have horses that the kids can ride. We are very fortunate to have a facility like this in our area.

I love the people at MMPT! They are friendly and positive. My life has changed for the better since I started going there. They have equipment that other places I've had therapy don't have. They are super knowledgeable when it comes to dealing with spinal cord injuries. Two years later and I still have nothing but posative things to say about Melanie Massey Physical Therapy! You may ask why I'm still going if they are so good. Here's why. They are helping me recover from something that happened 10 years ago. Progress is slow but steady even though I fractured a vertebra twice last year. The employees care about the patients and it shows!

I couldn't song their praises high enough no matter how hard I try! They have helped my kids through countless struggles, one of my boys is still going for migraine therapy. I have had migraines as long as I can remember and was going there for pelvic floor therapy and we were talking about my migraines and they mentioned they do therapy for that and he started getting migraines at young age also so we both started. I have broken bones, just had knee surgery, they have and are still helping me theough it all! I will recommend Melanie Massey and all her staff (most i could name by name but I don't want to accidentally leave anyone out) to anyone for literally ANY struggle.
