Dr. Huberman was quite dismissive, condescending, impatient and rude. He never introduced himself, didn’t take time to explain what would happen during the extraction, and what to expect. When I asked him a question as he was preparing to apply the local anesthesia, he shushed me and told me to stop talking and said “I know what I’m doing”. After he left, I told the assistant that I felt like I didn’t have enough information about what to expect and had more questions. I paid for a consultation but didn’t get a chance to ask questions and converse with the doctor about things. She replied rudely asking what else is there to know and that it’s a very simple thing. Treatment is first rate and caring. The front desk team is efficient and friendly. Appointments have been on time each visit. Touch wood, no waiting yet. Dr. Shah has a great manner and will take the time to explain each stage of treatment. The equipment seems up to date. Nobody wants to go see the oral surgeon of course. But if you have to go, I couldn't think of a better provider.

This is an incredibly awful and scammy practice. My regular dentist referred me to this practice for a consultation about getting one wisdom tooth removed. I made the appointment and spent a lot of time with the receptionist figuring out whether the xrays from the dentist I see regularly would suffice for the consultation. I emailed them directly to this practice and they confirmed that the xrays would work. When I arrived for the appointment, the receptionist asked if I had xrays!? We already went through this? They went through this very dramatic dog and pony show of "oh, I don't know if this will work. We have to check with the dentist. You might have to get new xrays." After all the theatrics, the dentist looked at my xrays and said all 4 wisdom teeth had to come out. I pushed back a

I have come here to extract my wisdom tooth in the past. A simple procedure. But, this time I had infected gum, thank you to Dr. Shah for helping me with the agonizing pain. This practice really has the patients best interests at heart ! I almost made an irrational decision, based on pain. The staff were super helpful and trustful!

The team at South Slope Oral Surgery is incredible! From the moment I walked in, I felt at ease with the process. Dr. Shah explained the process very clearly and respectfully. Highly recommend!
