Stay away. This place is a joke. I was there for the longest 2 months of my life. There are no doctors. There are 2 nurse practitioners that want to be called doctor. The aides handle every meal and no one has a food handlers permit. The meal ordered was rarely correct, cold and non balanced. I'm diabetic and there wasn't any food presented as being diabetic friendly. The aides are useless. If you use a bedpan, be aware of their comments. You get "it looks terrible," "it stinks" etc. Most of them are from Africa with a terrible command of the English language. They make you think that you're inconveniencing them when you press the aid button. There was only aid that was always patient focused (Evelyn). 2 more and I'm done. One of the morning aides, Cory, always wrote down the incorrect mor

I had a great experience at South Hill Rehabilitation and Care while receiving physical therapy for my shoulder. The staff was professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring throughout the process. They took the time to explain exercises, monitored my progress closely, and made sure I felt supported at every stage of my recovery. I’m very grateful for the quality care I received and would confidently recommend South Hill Rehabilitation and Care to anyone in need of physical therapy or rehabilitation services.

There are no words to express the kindness and dignity that the entire staff here showed my dad for the last three months of his life! Every nurse, every aide, admin, and office staff worked with my family to ensure he was safe and treated with respect. Even as he declined rapidly they never infantilized him (as MANY facilities do!), they spoke to him direct and asked questions about his life until he was unable to respond. They told him jokes, laughed with him. They made sure he was always kept clean and groomed when it would have been way easier to do the minimum. Even when Medicare was trying to mess with his coverage, the office staff helped me with appeals and paperwork to navigate the shitty red tape that hit me at every turn. The food was REALLY good, the activity director is an

I recently visited a dear friend in this facility and must say how impressed I was. The staff was absolutely amazing, everyone was so friendly, welcoming and very professional. My friend is receiving therapy and described her care as excellent in every possible way. I highly recommend this facility and their incredible caring support.

My grandmother was transferred to this facility after a seven-day hospital stay. Unfortunately, the experience was deeply disappointing from the very beginning. Upon intake, she was denied a shower and told she would have to wait two more days because it “wasn’t her day.” Even more concerning was the lack of follow-through after her discharge. We were sent home with assurances that home health services—including nursing care, bathing assistance, and physical therapy—had been arranged. However, when we followed up, the home health agency stated they never received any orders from the facility’s social services department. I made multiple attempts to contact the facility to resolve this, but no one has returned my calls. This breakdown in communication and care is unacceptable. If you car
