South Haven Long Term Care

My family member lived there for a time. They made many friends & some of the staff would look out for them. There seemed to always be a new face (nurses/aids). On a few occasions, they ran out of my family members medication. It only happened during the weekend, when it was near impossible to get anyone to answer the phone. Anytime I had a problem, once I was able to reach someone, the problem was handled. However, I don’t know who owns it now. They also could provide better meals for residents. There were no alternatives for people with restricted diets. They do provide them with plenty of snacks. They also do a lot of activities around the holidays. There are a lot of lovely people that live within its walls.

No please do not put your family In this place. Nurses stole Moms Narcotic. Meds, lost med records, filed SEVERAL Elder abuse reports. So management pathetic horrible management lost mom ID CARD, SS CARD, BIRTH CARD. An prescription reference form lost.Another Elder abuse report managent was given citation for losing mother money complete staff has been fired on various times. Management change/fired 3-4 times mom was there about 4 years I was in military. You have been warned Praise Jesus mom is with me now. Also Google bed bugs. They had to shut down rooms because of poor hygiene issues with funding to keep.clean

My mother was there, temporarily until we found other placement but in just the few weeks she was there she did not recieve her meds somedays and i recieved a phone call from her Dr because they had faxed an order and prescription to them only to get it back saying that she didnt live there!! This place should be closed down!

This place should be a mental health facility! It’s very dirty, They don’t clean everyday, My mothers meds got missing, they let anyone go in and out of her room when she wasn’t there. It was terrible

Do not put your loved one in this facility it is not fit for humans...I would not give it a 1 star but I had to select one to write a review.
