South Forsyth Family Medicine and Pediatrics

Started coming here 5 months ago with my newborn, Jacqueline (his pediatrician) is very polite, welcoming and helpful. Both her and the nurse(s) have helped us over the phone and gave us swift responses whenever we reached out to them but didn’t have an appointment. Office staff have been nothing but polite also, I haven’t experienced what a few others on here assumably have. Great practice and definitely recommend.

Dr. Boaz is great. I am on self pay, and pay $150 each visit. The doc also understands that I am on self pay, so he communicates with me between visits and sends refills for me until i can get back in, because life is already expensive as it is. I see a lot of reviews about the staff, and TBH I usually have to shrug off the attitude, but I also get it because how would you feel if you had to deal with insurance companies all day that usually give them bad news that they have to relay to YOU. Idk, just trying to see their POV.. Overall definitely love Doctor Boaz and appreciate his time and kindness. He really just cares about people being healthy.

I was a patient here for years, and due to not having any health conditions, I didn't make an appointment for a long time. Dr. Mark Glodener is the one specifically listed on my insurance card, and I made an appointment for a checkup and some tests. Then I received a call that says they are not taking any "new" patients and they canceled my appointment. Not only that, but the receptionist that handled my calls was extremely incompetent, seemed confused by my questions, had difficulty communicating over the phone, and wasn't very helpful at all. I don't know what happened to this office, but I would never recommend them to anyone at this point. Go elsewhere if you want professional health care.

Five stars for the doctors and the medical assistants whom are very polite and professional. One star because I can’t give zero for the front desk particularly one named ALICE, she constantly interrupts while you’re speaking and has zero professionalism. If you call she will cut you off constantly and put you on hold eternally. If you go to the office she will scream your business out to the entire waiting area she has zero concerns for patient privacy . She shouldn’t be working in direct contact with people she is disgustingly rude. The front desk staff always seems confused & poorly trained. Seriously debating in returning, the doctors are amazing but if you cannot get past the front desk you might as well go elsewhere.

I had a very frustrating experience with this clinic due to poor communication and unprofessional behavior from their staff. At the time of my visit, I was told to pay $120 upfront, and was assured this would cover the visit—whether through insurance or as a self-pay patient. Based on that clear instruction, I proceeded. Weeks later, I started receiving additional bills for the same visit. When I called to understand why, instead of helping or explaining clearly, the staff became defensive and rude. They accused me of lying, claimed I misunderstood, and insisted their staff are “well-trained” so the mistake must be mine.
