The doctor was extremely patient and took the time to explain everything to us in detail, which we truly appreciated. We felt heard and well cared for during the visit. However, we did experience some concerns with the billing process. We were asked to pay an estimated amount upfront before the claim was submitted to insurance and without receiving an itemized bill. In our experience with other departments at Miramar Hospital — including specialist departments — payment is usually collected after the insurance claim is processed so the exact amount owed is clear and the only amount due upfront is the copay. Dr Castellan is expectacular!!! Great doctor, confident, knowledge and I’ve been around looking for a good pediatric Urologist !! The office its very good except Kenia, the lady that does the triage, not good with kids, but everything else its amazing
