Sound Retina Kennewick

I have had two vitrctomy surgeries, one in each eye, all in the last 3 months. Sound Retina and their staff were very helpful and great in explanation of what was going on and how the procedures would take place. My vision is coming back and I’m so thankful! I would highly recommend this facility and the amazing doctors and staff. 5 stars!!!

The team was incredibly personable and respectful. They took the time to explain everything they were doing, which made me feel comfortable and informed. Professional, courteous, fast service for an added on appointment!

They only get business because there the only one in town so therefore they get to treat their patients anyway they would like because we are at their mercy. Well if you like to wait fours to see the doctor for ten minutes and never the same doctor mind you. I have been there for over a year and never knew why I was having eye issues they just treat the symptoms. Not to mention if the staff messes up and your appointment gets cancelled then have to wait 3 months to get back in to see the doctor then get upset with them you get treated like a criminal. The office manager is very unprofessional and will not admit fault when she has a staff members that she has openly admitted they didn't understand their job.

I would've given 5 stars but the wait time once you're there can be north of 3 hrs., but they do warn and thank the patients for having patience. My mom has been a patient for a few yrs now and is always treated with kindness, respect and a high level of care. My dad recently had a severe trauma to his eye and we saw Dr. Haynie yesterday for the first time. The tech that gave him the prelim tests was so very kind and Dr. Haynie did an extremely thorough exam, explained the type of injury in layman's terms and then gave us a treatment plan moving forward.

I visited retina sound recently and with a 10:00 appt I waited almost 90 minutes to go back for the first part of my appointment. The biggest frustration was when I got there. They did not advise how far behind they were nor did that at any time come out and find anyone to let them know. They just let us all sit there. I will say Dr Haynie was very professional and informative which was appreciated.
