As far as I'm concerned, I truly feel Dr. Polena is a fantastic Doctor. He explains as well as walks you through your test results as well as explaining why you need a test and or a procedure. Oh, another great quality, he listens! Also, I feel he orchestrates his staff very well and they too are very smart, attentive and kind. Overall, my experience with Dr. Polena and his staff is a great one and I would recommend his care to my family and friends anytime. Lastly, the front office is busy at times but they are hard working and very easy to work with. I'm truly thankful

This review is several years late, but since Dr. Polena is still my husband's cardiologist, so it is well worth mentioning. He saved my husband's life. At 44 years old, he ended up in the ER at Huntington Hospital, with a "cement blockage" of "The widow maker. " The care of the entire team, with Dr. Polena taking charge, is the reason he had an excellent outcome. He always answers calls and is extremely easy to talk to.

Totally apathetic Dr. and Staff. Would not return any calls even when Told them I was having chest pains. Office Staff is ruining the reputation of this hapless cardiologist. Called 4x to get a simple test authorization, got the office manager who made it painfully obvious she is setting the tone for the incompetence the entire office follows.

Overall, a great doctor, very kind, and helped me through all the stress I was going through during my heart condition. I can honestly say that he saved my life.

HE SAVED MY LIFE !! Prefect no, but I would not be writing this without him and staff.
