Somerset Pediatric Group

A top quality pediatric clinic with a great combination of pediatricians and a front desk. We have been coming here for more than 2 years from the time our son was born and Dr Medha Gavai has been his doctor since then. She is kind, knowledgeable and friendly to talk to. She has always been spot on with her diagnosis, with the medications and we have always had a hassle free experience scheduling our appointments or even when we had to see a doctor on emergency. The other doctors Dr Patel and Dr Edelman are also great at what they do. The facility is clean and well maintained and their parking space is quite ample.

I am really happy with this group. They don’t make doctors better than Dr. Ebel! I needed an emergency appointment on a Saturday and while Highland Park is only open on Sundays, the Somerset office was open and took us in right away. All the doctors I’ve seen are great and the staff is so nice and supportive.

We’ve been with the group since 2017 and have two children under the team at highland park. We’re very satisfied with the nurses and doctors (Dr. Edelman is our preferred and is very detailed and thorough, highly recommended!) I know that when I call for a sick visit we will be met with care and concern and never made to feel like an annoyance. One downsize is the wait time, it can get a bit long and when you have little ones there’s only so much you can do to keep them occupied in a 10x10 room! Other than that we love our HP pediatric group!!

Very happy with SPG highland park location. The front desk staff is always so nice and helpful. They always offered us formula coupons and samples, if available. I’ve never waited in the waiting room longer than 5 minutes. Dr. Edelman is great with our child. He is very thorough, answers all questions and we never feel rushed. Grateful for this group/doctors/medical professionals 😊

The doctors are still good, for the most part. But, the price has skyrocketed since they joined somerset pediatrics and wait times hve increase das well. They now also charge extra for after hours visits and don’t tell you ahead of time. It’s cheaper to take the kids to urgent care. Might be time to switch pediatricians… Updating this about a year after hey switch from university pediatrics to Somerset pediatrics. The clinical staff is excellent at the HP location. They hired new doctors and nurses and I’m thrilled with them. The office staff is, for the most part, great too. There’s one woman who’s a snob and a half, but she’s the exception. They do still have a fee for after hours, but, with current prices that’s still cheaper than PM pediatrics. Very happy I didn’t switch pediatricians
