My family saw this dentist for several years. My experience with this practice is that the dentist is good with routine dental care. However for more complicated issues e,g, root canal, tooth implant, Misaligned tooth etc. pls see appropriate specialists. Just like you will see a cardiologist for heart related issues and not see an internist, dentistry has its specialists too. These are professionals trained for additional years beyond general dentistry training. Dr. Chu will not refer you to appropriate specialist, rather he will try to convince you, even show you equipment to convince you he can perform the same procedures dental specialists should perform.
