I had an amazing experience at Smillie Dental of Port Orange. From the incredibly detailed and thorough teeth cleaning to the flawless installation of my two crowns, everything was handled with precision and professionalism. What really stood out was their ability to design and install the final crowns in-house during the same appointment, I was completely finished in just about 2.5 hours. The entire team was efficient, friendly, and made the process seamless from start to finish. I couldn’t be more impressed with the quality of care and technology they offer. Highly recommend.

What an incredible experience I had today at the dentist!! I was having some issues with a tooth, and they scheduled me right in to see Dr Smillie for an exam. It was determined that I needed a bad fillling from another dentist fixed, and the Dr was able to fix it on the spot. I have never had such a thorough, detailed experience from the time I scheduled to the time I left the office. Dr. Smillie addressed every concern I had about my teeth, and answered every question I had. Julia, the hygenist, was so caring, friendly, and helpful. I was given anything I needed to be comfortable - a blanket, a stress ball (needed that for my dental anxiety LOL), a neck pillow, and HGTV. Love this office!! Very informative and flexible staff willing to educate and work around situation by situation. Chloe is the best hygienist in town! Fast, thorough, and gentle. And Dr. Helen keeps me looking fresh and calm with Botox for my jaw to protect my teeth from grinding! Highly recommended

Can’t say enough good things about this office. I have had a lot of dental work done throughout my entire adult life and When I met with Dr. Joe and his team, they really hooked me up and my teeth have never felt better and my smile has never looked better in my entire life. Would send anyone and everyone to Dr. Smillie and their assistant and hygiene team are top-notch professionals! Best dentist ever, by far.

My family of six were patients here for 3 years, and overall the care was good. Unfortunately, my last visit was very disappointing. I was given an iPad to update my information and only noticed in tiny print that my care plan price had nearly doubled. No one informed me beforehand. My son had visited the week before and was also not told about the increase, yet the higher charge was applied to my credit card. When I questioned it, billing told me, “It is what it is,” which felt unprofessional and dismissive. Raising rates by nearly 50% without clearly informing the account holder feels misleading. This experience seriously damaged my trust in the practice. I hope management reviews this process, as I am sure I am not the only one affected.
