This practice is a 5 star experience for our whole family. Super clean, professional and attentive Dental team, including Dr Bacalar and the hygienists. I appreciate all the time he spent with my children and asked questions and encouraged healthy dental habits. Well run and on time. Highly recommend.

After a terrible experience with my prior dentist, Dr. Bacalar fixed 2 poorly done crowns. He was meticulous, understanding, patient and kind. I cannot recommend this practice enough! My new dentist!

Great experience at Smilin Dental. I had a chipped tooth it from knocking it into metal water bottle and was stressing about it. I called in Jackie at the front desk was nice and helpful in getting my papers together quick as a new patient. Then Karen got me seated in the office and was so sweet. Dr. Steve showed up soon after and from the first words he spoke I knew I was in good hands. I think just about anyone with fears of dental procedures or operations would be put at ease as soon as they met the staff here. Professional and wonderful. Appreciate it so much! As someone who used to fear the dentist, Dr. Bacalar and his team make sure you are comfortable and that all of your questions are answered. I have had many issues with my teeth over the years and felt very embarrassed, but they emphasize that they want the best for you. Thank you for taking pride in your work. I’ll see you soon! **Update today: 8/7/2025 I went in today for my cleaning. My Dad is a patient too. Sadly, my Mom, is not well right now, and Dr. B said he was thinking about our family. Makes you realize that there are people that still care out there. Thank you!

Dr. Steve Bacalar and his staff are incredible. He is the best Dentist I have ever had and I am so grateful Dr. Bentkover, my Endodontist in Evanston that referred me to him. His skill at repairing teeth and his staff of hygientists are excellent. They cured my gum disease in two cleanings. Dr, Bacalar is so great that you will want to never settle for less again. He goes all out for his patients.
