Dr. Luna is very knowledgeable with various procedures like crown implants or Invisalign and his expertise with thorough cleaning and gentle approach makes you feel secure and that you can trust them. I would definitely come back and stay here for my dental care.

I had a disappointing experience with Dr. DeLuna regarding a full implant procedure. While he seems like a nice person and is a competent general dentist, implants clearly are not his specialty. During my procedure, one implant failed, and I was told I would need a bone graft for an additional \$600. When I questioned the extra charge, I was told “no worries, we’ll just move the implant.” That decision didn’t sit well with me. Unfortunately, within less than a year, the implants (a four-on-four setup) were not holding in place. As a self-employed individual going through a tough financial time, I had to wait another year before I could afford to see another dentist. I chose not to return to Dr. DeLuna because I had lost confidence in his work. The new dentist confirmed the original work

Dr. de Luna is a true professional. He gives honest advices and is direct to the point with the dental care I need. He does the whole treatment compared to passing me to an assistant. He is very knowledgeable and compassionate. I came from another dentist that was recommending procedures that were not appropriate but with Dr. de Luna I feel I’m not being taken advantaged. My whole family goes to Smiles of Carlsbad for our dental care. The whole staff is friendly and welcoming.

Really nice new boutique style practice in Carlsbad. The dentist is a former navy dentist. Affordable and trustworthy with a lot of experience. I think you will be happy with Dr. DeLuna and the staff there.
