I found Mal Azar doctor on Google when my son had a very severe tooth inflammation and needed urgent treatment. We had tried several pediatric dentists in Brooklyn, but no one was even able to get him to open his mouth. From the very first visit, this doctor was amazing. He immediately built a connection with my son and made him feel safe and comfortable. The treatment went smoothly, and every visit since then has been a positive experience. My son actually asks to go to the dentist — that says everything! The entire office has such a warm and friendly atmosphere. Doctor is fantastic with children—patient, kind, and always explaining everything in a way that makes our daughter feel comfortable. She’s not afraid of dental visits anymore, and we appreciate how the team takes the time to make each visit fun and stress-free.

I cannot say enough great things about Smiles for Miles!! The dentist is full of energy, loves his profession, knowledgeable, and excellent with kids. The office decorations are so fun - makes waiting around with my youngest painless because we do animal scavenger hunt. The office manager has such a nice professional way about her. She’s warm and accommodating - also interacts with the kids and helps things run in an efficient manner. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone. I don’t know how they do it but they perfectly balance warmth and care with efficiency and professionalism. My kids love their dentist and look forward to their appointments!

I am one of those people who will read every single available review, looking for a crack in the foundation, especially for doctors. Smiles for Miles absolutely lives up to their 5 star reviews. My 8 y.o. child had a great experience last week (general cleaning, x-ray, and a filling on a premolar) and is officially no longer dentophobic! The office is gorgeous, there was no wait, and Dr. Mal has a very empathetic and friendly demeanor. He also has an open door policy for parents, which I appreciated. Worth the long trip on the subway!
