Treat patients well, but don't even stand by their own office "policies". THEIR policy say 15 minutes or more late for an appt and they have the right to reschedule. They don't even give you 10! We have to travel over an hour to get there. Do you know the unexpected things that can happen between here and there? We've had to wait on others that ran over during their appointments, but no return respect for us, who have never been late for an appt. Spent over 2 hours on the road to not be seen. Shameful. Do better! At least stand by you own policies.

Dr. Mary Trahar-Thomas is one of the most caring doctors I’ve ever met. She truly goes above and beyond to provide exceptional care, and her attention to detail is unmatched. It’s clear she genuinely values her patients and our time... as a mom, I just really appreciate that that's a priority for her. And her passion for helping families like mine really shines through in everything she does. Anyone fortunate enough to be treated at Smiles By The Bay is in the best hands!

I’m literally in tears as I just got off the phone trying to make my son an appt for Ortho, I already had a terrible experience with another office and with the limited options available to a single mother and with the insurance we currently have this office has completely failed simply due to preference. My son was SEEN at another provider never received any ortho services or appliance. The first excuse to not letting us book an appointment was due to insurance not paying if the patient had started care somewhere else. My insurance company explained he only received a preauth and could go to another provider if not satisfied and his treatment would be covered, I told this to the office manger Dawn who told me she would look into it only for after a

My experience was amazing with smiles by the bay.My whole family goes here and we’ve never had issues! I do spark clear aligners and it has nothing but easy thanks to the awesome customer service, kind assistants and the wonderful doctor. I would definitely recommend coming here.

My son at his last appointment said he wanted his braces off and your staff refused to Accommodate my son's request and now you wont see us because of missed appointments, nor take his braces off and no other Orthodontist will touch anothers work. We also live 1 hour and 30 mins away and your staff does not understand that because if you did you wouldnt be so snippy about being 1 min late. I have a lawyer about you refusal of service and the pain my son has to endure with braces falling off on there own because you refuse taking them off.
