Smile Starters Wilmington

My son has been coming here 17 years and just recently our experiences have really gone downhill. I drive an hour just to get there, he's told he needs work done, appointments are scheduled and when we come back they do a "checkup", x-rays, or a cleaning, THEN I get another appointment set, come back and he's told again he needs work done, set an appointment and another "checkup". He has pain, fillings that need to be done that never get done. I'm beyond upset. Wasted time and gas all the while my son is going to dentist appointments that won't do his dental work.

Everyone was amazing. My kids really enjoyed.It laughed and was very happy with the experience would recommend this place to anyone. A 1 service from the front to the back

Recently, I’ve had issues with getting a surgical procedure done for my son. Tammy was EXCELLENT!! She not only contacted the offices we had the referral with but she researched who we needed to contact to get things done. Tammy displayed the epitome of service excellence! Thank you!!

⭐️⭐️ We initially appreciated Smile Starters Wilmington for their welcoming approach to pediatric dentistry and the way they cared for our daughter’s teeth. Up until recently, we had no issues and felt comfortable with their care. However, during our most recent visit, our daughter was diagnosed with what they said was a cavity. They recommended treatment with Silver Diamine Fluoride and, without our consent, applied fluoride after her exam. We have always chosen not to use fluoride for personal reasons, so this was extremely disheartening. Seeking clarity, we went to another dentist for a second opinion. Not only did they find no cavity present, but they also noted there was no record of any cavity diagnosis in our daughter’s dental chart from Smile Starters. This lack of documentatio

Now there's a "policy" that if you have two children, they can't have their appointments at the same time, so you have to lose two hours because they don't want any double cancellations in case you can't make it. It's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. Obviously, I'm looking for a new dentist, and I'm giving zero stars to the checkout girl for her terrible attitude.
