I recently had to switch Dentists due to Medicare insurance. I was apprehensive and nervous about going to a new Dentist. Delta Dental assigned me to this Dentistry since it’s around the corner from my residence. My fears were unfounded. Dr. Myra Mungia was an amazing Dentist. She is very personable and highly skilled. The staff here is amazing as well. Very friendly and very helpful. I had to have two molars extracted that decayed under the crowns. Not an easy task as one was broken off at the gum line. Dr. Myra skillfully extracted the teeth, applied bone grafts, and stitched up the gums. No pain whatsoever. I recommend Smile Select Dental here in Alta Loma.

I would strongly caution anyone considering this dental office. I was presented with very high treatment costs without clear justification, and it felt like my situation was being used to push expensive procedures. After seeking a second opinion elsewhere, the recommended treatment was far less extensive and nearly half the price. Experiences like this undermine trust in healthcare providers. Patients deserve honest assessments and transparent pricing not pressure during a vulnerable moment. I recommend getting another opinion before agreeing to treatment here.

Thank you for a pretty demanding dental work Dr Munguia, Joanna and Leslie did for me! I have to admit, I was a little skeptic seeing how young all this team is but so profesional and skilled and absolutely pain free for me, considering the complexity of the work: bridge&crown removal, extraction, bone graft, surgery and abces cleaning. Desk clerks Erica and Michelle, dental assistant and Doctor Mungia were very good, thorough, communicated well and was very helpful in helping me navigate my treatment goal. I’ve had a long dental journey, so I have experienced at lot. There ability to listen to my needs and answer my questions were much appreciated. They didn’t sound like car salesman with something that is very personal, expensive and necessary for dental confidence. The office atmosphere was comfortable.

Front office staff is pleasant, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. The doctor was skilled and informative, and had no problem clarifying all options. Would highly recommend.
