I didn’t even get the chance to meet the provider because my experience with the front office staff was very disappointing. I called to ask if they were accepting new patients and was told yes. Once I provided my insurance information (Cigna DHMO), the staff told me they only accept PPO plans, despite the fact that this doctor is listed as in-network through my Cigna plan. When I explained that I had confirmed through the Cigna app that this provider is in-network, they didn’t offer any explanation or help—just a vague response that they “don’t take DHMO,” even though it’s clearly not excluded. I asked to speak with a manager or someone else who might be more informed, and I was told there is no manager—that it’s just the doctor and herself. I went ahead and called Cigna directly to doub

First dental visit since Covid, and a new dentist since my previous one moved, so I was pretty anxious. Dr. Patel and his dental assistant were professional and courteous, worked together very efficiently, and quickly put me at ease. I endued up needing a new set of x-rays, a deep cleaning, a previous filling re-filled, and couple new small cavities needed tending. One thing that impressed me was how quickly he identified that the tooth pain I was feeling wasn't coming from the tooth, but was a jaw joint issue. I was walked through every step of each process. Dr. Patel always came across as kind and honest, and it was one of the more pleasant dental experiences I've had despite the amount of work needed. I don't even want to give a star. I went to see Dr. Niraj Patel from 8/2016 - 10/2016 for a root canal. Yes it took 3 months. It was a painful experience and once the crown was put on it never fit or looked right. 2 days after it was put on it popped off. I had to go back and have it put back on...Fast forward to 2 weeks ago, I started with extreme pain in the area of the root canal. I went to a diff dentist that told me there is a great deal of Open contact and food is getting stuck between the crown and other tooth. I need to have my crown replaced and insurance wont pay for it since it hasn't been 5 years. Some dumb police my insurance has. I contacted Dr. Niraj Patel and didn't get and answer or response. Don't go to this dentist. He does spotty work and isn't good with people. Not

So thankful and happy I came to Smile Care! Dr. Norah Patel is knowledgeable and a true professional! AnnMarie Zuba, the hygienist made my smile look amazing! She's an artist and a perfectionist!

Dr. Niraj Patel was working on my root canal and at that time, he broke one of my bottom teeth in half. I had to constantly go in to get it filled because they did not fill it correctly. Would not recommend.
