Jill has an extraordinary talent for understanding where problems exist, and for applying the precise treatment needed in a very wholistic sense. I have been benefiting from her many years of training and experience for awhile now, and I would recommend her to anyone with physical problems involving mobility, chronic pain, spasms, knots, post-surgery recovery, or even just tightness or tension from stress or injuries. I have been a client of Jill's for over 20 years. Jill is best in class as a Shiatsu practitioner. As a personal trainer, she bridges her expertise of the body's anatomy and physiology with her 28 years of Shiatsu practice. Jill is a true healer on many levels. Shiatsu is a different type of body work. It’s not ‘massage’ per se as people expect. It helps the body heal and recover. It can be intense, but not like deep tissue work.

Her technique melts away knots and tension. She can modulate the pressure for either deep tissue or a lighter touch. When I started seeing Jill, I was having 5-6 migraines a month which would last 1-2 days; this gradually decreased to about one per year! She has also been helpful for a friend with chronic back pain. There is something special that Jill brings to shiatsu - she truly has healing hands.
