Simply Beautiful Smiles of Pleasantville, NJ

I have a membership plan with simply beautiful smiles in pleasantville. I have been a patient at this location for many, many years. I arrived for my cleaning appointment. I was told by the front desk associate, that I was required to have X-rays in order for them to go ahead with my cleaning. I am very diligent with my dental care. Keeping up with my cleanings, to avoid issues with my teeth and keeping them healthy are a priority. I could not believe they refused service because I could not afford X-rays at this visit. I have no current issues with my teeth. They are healthy because I have always maintained dental health. I have never heard of something so absurd, as a dentist refusing service for a simple maintenance appointment because they need the extra $270 for unnecessary X-rays. Ke

I just love simply beautiful smiles. The staff is awesome and friendly. They took care of my insurance coverage and up front about co-pays. I had a temporary bridge put in and they took great care of me when I had issues and needed emergency services. I highly recommend them if you want great dental care

While the front desk staff at this dental office have always been friendly and professional, the experience with the dentists—particularly Dr. Maitland—has been extremely disappointing. There seems to be constant turnover with the dentists, which makes it hard to feel confident in the care you’re receiving. Unfortunately, the overall experience has often felt like I’m getting Medicaid-level treatment despite spending a significant amount of money here. Dr. Maitland was by far the worst part of my experience. He comes across as cold, lacking any bedside manner, and far too rough to be in this line of work. I never felt like I was being treated with compassion or even basic respect as a patient. I genuinely regret the dental work I had done here and will not be returning.

The wait was not long. The staff was professional. I appreciate the dentist us young and loves what she does. I am able to chew again with no pain. The hygienist explained the procedures that were to be performed when I asked. Yes I got a deep clean and was numbed enough to not be in pain. Got a filling too. And all done within 2 hours. 9 -10:40. That is good for me as I don't sit still long. I would recommend this place to others that need to be reassured about their dental needs.

So this morning I called to get some information, I was greeted rudely by Wanda ( I mean in person she has the same nasty attitude, so I knew to record the conversation). Instead of having a bad attitude she should get some more training because she simply couldn’t tell me anything that I asked. Her replies were snarky and sarcastic showing no compassion towards the customer. I don’t care how long you’ve been with the company you don’t talk to people out the ordinary like Wanda did. So after she told lies and couldn’t help me. She then said I’ll have my manager Gia give you a call.. So an hour later Gia the manager calls she tells me that I don’t need a referral so at this point someone is lying because you can’t just walk into a dentist office without a referral. In my mind this has so
