Silverton Memorial Funeral Home

The Silverton Funeral Home is an excellent provider of services and compassion. The personnel are vested in assuring grieving families consolation and assistance at a time when emotions and sadness are highest. The funeral director is extremely pleasant and efficient in assuring the clients are well supported and cared for. The supporting personnel are very helpful and kind also. I would recommend this organization to any friends or relatives. The professionalism and compassion is very evident from first contact throughout a trying time and process.

The services themselves were fine - but the funeral home itself has been bought out by a larger funeral home group based in North Jersey. The planning process was easy and frankly painless - obituary, mass cards, casket, and services were convenient to plan and we honestly had everything taken care of, planning-wise, within an hour. The staff at Silverton are kind - they accommodated as necessary, helped resolve quick issues (though the issue was odd - the package we paid for included limo service, and we confirmed where the limo would pick us up, and yet they did not have a limo ready for the day of the funeral). However, the business practices are not well-intended, especially for Ocean County. For one, during the funeral, the funeral director mentioned the name of the funeral home grou

The care and kindness of the entire staff at Silverton cannot be surpassed. At such a time of grief they were there to assist the family with every detail needed to get us through. They took such wonderful care of Connie and we will always be grateful. Thank you all, Cathy Rogozinski.

When placed in the position of making funeral arrangements for the loss of someone you love dearly, my father, it is never easy. Silverton Memorial Home was very compassionate, efficient and sensitive to our needs. They made it an easy experience with the utmost respect and professionalism. All of the staff from the arrangements, the viewing to the entombment was completed with such grace and solemn. I want to thank all of them for what they do.

We have had several wake services and funerals at Silverton Funeral Home. Paula and all the staff were kind, compassionate and made every effort to help and comfort us during these most difficult and two very unexpected deaths. They were there for us and provided any thing we needed or wanted. I truly feel they couldn't have done more for us. They treated us as family.
