We have been working w Dr Silverman for decades. He is an excellent optometrist. Great bedside manner and very accommodating. He has been helping seniors in our community for years

Worst doctor ever! The secretary is rude. The place is dirty and not updated. The doctor complains about everything and tries to sell you something that your insurance doesn't cover so he can make extra money.

Took forever to start and stop my eye exam to chat w/another doc passing thru, complaining about how little money they make, got my prescription COMPLETELY wrong per the next doc I soon had to go to (because with Silverman's new eyeglasses I would start to see double and my eyes would be bloodshot within 15 minutes), and he ripped me off PER THE INSURANCE COMPANY that inspected my eyeglasses charging $200 for standard $2 lenses, and he kept trying to sell me upgrades like anti-glare, scratch resistance, etc. -- I'd say "no" and he'd start writing and say "so you want anti-glare" over and over -- it became so absurd that I finally asked if he was joking and warned him that if he insulted my intelligence one more time he was about to have a really bad day. Go ANYWHERE else!

Dr. Silverman has taken care of MANY of our Residents and their families have been very happy. He is a very generous soul with endless patience. I would highly recommend Dr. Silverman.

Dr Silverman is the only doctor that let me walk in my glasses, he was like God send when I fine him, I live in Queens now and I still make the journey to Huntington to get my eyes done,am with him from 2011 and worry that he don't pack up business before I die.
