My loved one has been transferred to this nursing home, and I Must Admit, that prior to his transfer, I was Nervous based on on our experience with his previous nursing home, which was Split Rock. A few months have now passed and without wanting to be overly excited (the first Couple months) I must say that this is probably One of the best nursing homes. As for the people that have reviewed it poorly It’s truly unfair. My personal experience is that everyone in there has made it they’re sole purpose to create a homey environment Filled with love and care.. I’m still in shock Of the Compassion and the care That the staff provides. It’s not glitzy fancy, however A true Home is never a fancy appearing one. They focus on well-being and health . I had a very negative experience during my recent visit to here. I was visiting my mother and unfortunately, my encounter with one of the nurses, Melissa, was incredibly unpleasant. She was not only rude but also extremely condescending, short, and passive agressive. I tried to address my concerns by reaching out to the administration, but despite waiting for what felt like an eternity, no one came to speak with me. I am left unsure if the issue was ever even communicated to them. It’s disheartening to have such a poor experience in a place that is supposed to provide compassionate care. I hope that the management takes steps to address issues like this...everyone deserves to be treated with kindness and respect, and unfortunately, that was not my experience. I had an issue i felt was important to discuss with administration. I was told director of nursing was not there but asst director was there...this lady acted like she didn't even see me...never spoke to me to resolve anything and just told someone to tell me "she's busy". I don't know what's wrong with her and this may be childish but id be angry too if i looked like a gremlin that never seen the sun. If you hate your job get a new profession instead of being unprofessional. Other wise experience was OK, but she definitely left me with a bad taste.

Wonderful and accommodating staff. I'm so glad I chose this facility for my mother. She was transferred here from the hospital and has been receiving excellent care since. They have a very nice community, special events for each season (with live music!) and is overall a nice and clean environment. The administrative staff always keep me informed of her care and let me know when something is needed on my end in a timely fashion.

The amount of mice they have in this facility is unbelievable. I came to watch someone overnight who lives in a group home and counted seven different ones running through his room. I did not want to put my feet down not to mention the ones that run in the hall all night long. I could not wait for the shift to be over. The amount of mice that run around under the patients beds is just sad to be making all this money and have an uncontrollable rodent problem like this is insane.
