Sierra San Antonio Medical Plaza

We have always gone to Sierra Lakes Urgent care for non urgent care for over twenty years. The Doctors, PA's and staff were great. Today we came for my husbands shoulder pain from a fall. The receptionist that signed us in was nice, professional and took care of us quickly. Low and behold once we were called in, the check in techs, because they couldn't of been nurses because of their attitudes, one an older blond and a heavy set I think Hispanic younger woman couldn't of been any more RUDE to us like we were dirt under their shoes. We have dealt with real nurses at San Antonio Medical Center and not one person in 25 years had treated us like they two women. Perhaps since they hate their jobs San Antonio Urgent care needs to let them find a job they might like, doubt it but tending to peop

Suite 300 is awful. Although my doctors are good, the check in staff doesn't respond to your arrival, smile, or in anyway try to be pleasant to patients. There are currently 16 cheap print outs taped onto the walls with warnings for complaining about service, disclaimers etc. The chairs are filthy, the wait is long, the staff acts annoyed at patients presence.

On Sept 14, 2025 (yesterday), my granddaughter visited this "'Urgent Care" after injuring her foot playing soccer. From the moment she registered, the staff were cold. Almost rude. It was almost closing time. The Dr saw her long enough to ask where it hurt, and he ordered an xray. The xray came quickly. Then the nurse came to release her...without the Dr coming back to discuss her xray! She had to ask the Dr to see "the patient"!! Unacceptable!

DONT WASTE YOUR TIME COMING HERE. Even with an appointment we’re waiting about 2 hours to be seen, then the nurses give attitude when we ask why we have been sitting in the room for so long. Very unprofessional

Doctors DO take a long time to see you. But once they do come in the room and take care of you. It’s almost like in and out. But it DOES and WILL always be a wait.
