Sienna Dermatology - Sugarland TX

After moving to Sugar Land, I was worried I wouldn’t be able to find a dermatologist that I loved as much as my previous doctor. My worries were pushed aside when I visited Dr. Moore at Sienna Dermatology. Her knowledge, professionalism, and gentle demeanor are outstanding and her entire office staff is efficient and friendly with can-do attitudes. Parking can be a challenge at the Sugar Land office, but the office suite itself is clean and comfortable. My appointment time was respected and the check-in process and check-out process were seamless. I wholeheartedly recommend Sienna Dermatology and Dr. Moore to anyone looking for an outstanding dermatologist in the Sugar Land area.

The front desk receptionist, Mary, provided a warm welcome and demonstrated exceptional politeness and assistance. Additionally, Alinnah offered valuable information that will be beneficial for my future visits. Each time I come in, the thoughtful decorations create an inviting atmosphere that enhances my experience. I appreciate the efforts of Sienna Dermatology in making me feel at home.

I’m really disappointed with my recent visit with Dr. Angel Puryear. I came in with small bumps on my neck and was told it was shingles. I was immediately prescribed steroids and antiviral medication. After taking them for three days, the rash still didn’t match shingles. I scheduled a tele-visit through my insurance for a second opinion, and that doctor confirmed it was actually folliculitis. They advised me to stop the antiviral medication and prescribed a simple antibacterial cream instead. It’s frustrating that such a strong treatment was prescribed based on an inaccurate diagnosis. I expected a more careful evaluation. This experience has shaken my confidence in the clinic.

Dr Moore and "all" of her staff are amazing! In the 10 years +/- I have been a patient, I have never had anything but professional, prompt treatment from appointments to care. It's hard to find a medical dermatologist in todays world. Dr Moore has gone above and beyond helping me with my psoriasis and obtaining my treatments. Many thanks to her and her team!
