Shyong Family Dental Group

Just left my visit and feel compelled to leave a review. I cannot recommend Dr. Shyong highly enough! Our family (myself and 3 young children) have been coming here for years. He is incredibly kind and gentle. What I appreciate most is how he handles my kids—he’s patient, calm, and makes them feel completely at ease. It’s also incredibly refreshing to find a provider who is honest and ethical. He never pushes unnecessary treatments or procedures, and I always feel like he has our best interests at heart.

I can’t rate this place high enough. This was the BEST dental experience I’ve ever had. I have really bad dental anxiety due to a traumatizing experience getting my wisdom teeth removed a couple years ago so I was super nervous coming in. The staff here made sure that I was taken care of the entire time and didn’t dismiss my anxiety. Dr. Wong and his assistant walked me through every single step in detail, and when I told him I might need extra numbing he did just that (he was numbing me every 10-15 minutes to make sure I didn’t feel a single thing). I had a root canal that took a little over an hour to complete and I almost fell asleep in the chair, the experience was that great. I can not recommend this place more. Absolutely exceptional.

I didn't realize how bad and rude these dentists are until I moved away. I used to dread dental cleanings because they were painful, and I now realize they shouldn't have been painful at all. Also I was finally officially diagnosed with TMJ. I was quickly dismissed when I brought up my symptoms to the dentist here. I came here for years, and they were rude and dismissive. Of course there are people who work here who are very nice overall, but I would not recommend this place.

I called Dr. Shyong’s office after breaking a tooth and losing a filling. Dr. Andy was so accommodating. I was seen immediately. Dr. Shyong is knowledgeable , efficient and he didn’t hurt me. I've been coming to Dr. Shyong since I was a kid and as an adult now, have transitioned to seeing Dr. Andy. Not only are they an extremely friendly practice, their staff has been there for years and know all of their patients. Dr. Andy is unbelievably knowledgeable and quite conservative in his practice which is so unusual in dentistry. My entire family visits the practice and they have a specialist for everything. If you ever need a root canal, I promise you there is no one better than Dr. Wong.
