Shreveport Bossier Family Dental Care

I had an appointment to have my wisdom teeth removed today and the staff was amazing!!!! I usually go to the Barksdale location but the surgeon was at this location and he did such an amazing job. If I could praise him and his staff for the job the did today I would, over, and over. It’s been 8 hours since the removal and I’m in no pain, I’m so grateful for the surgeon and his staff that took care of me. I always recommend Shreveport Bossier Family Dental Care to everyone but I will even more now.

If I could rate Dr Cotton a 0 star I would. The office staff here is absolutely amazing and the sweetest people. Dr. Cotton however is not. He messed up multiple times and gets frustrated when I was in pain during my appt. I had a full blown panic attack on the table while getting a root canal and he got irritated because I was not being still meanwhile I was hyperventilating. He left the room and the dental assistant had to help calm me down. This man is very rude and arrogant. I would never recommend him to my worst enemy. Worst dental experience I have ever had.

This company has gotten so big they treat people as if they are disposable. It has taken me a year to get an appt time that I could actually come to. So today I finally arrived for my dental cleaning only to find that they canceled it because I didn't confirm. People are busy and sometimes don't have time to confirm appointments. The next available appt for a cleaning is in September...really!!! I'm done with Shreveport Bossier Family Dental time to find a new dentist. Complete disregard for clients time.

I came in for a cleaning today with Lacy. She was very nice, informative, and professional! It was an extremely pleasant experience. Glad to have someone be so understanding and kind. It has been a while since I had last had a cleaning. She made me feel comfortable about that and not look down on me. It is refreshing to know that people understand life happens. I would highly recommend!

Thank you to Dr. Cotton and staff. You guys are amazing and a very nice. I got two extractions and bone grafts done yesterday and I feel great today. Dr. Cotton was very generous with the numbing and also gentle yet quick. He was done in about an hour. I was very comfortable and he made sure to talk me through what he was doing and checked on me constantly as he was working. So again thank you guys! I will definitely be back.
