Shore View Nursing and Rehabilitation

My husband is on the 7th floor. The nurses and the staff are very nice and truly care. The wound specialist Alexandra has always come to see my husband when I ask her. His social worker is always available to answer any questions I may have. The therapists always encourage him to keep trying. The place is kept very clean and the food is good. The portions are big. It’s a relief to know that he’s being well taken care of.

I had an excellent experience with this rehabilitation center in Brooklyn. The staff were professional, attentive, and truly caring. The facility was clean and well-maintained, and the social workers provided high-quality support, guidance, and attention to every detail. They made the recovery process much easier and more comfortable. I am very grateful for their help and highly recommend this rehab center.

My father has been at the rehab facility for only a few days but so far the place seems great! Staff are available, friendly, and helpful when asked questions. Facility looks good and clean as well.

I want to caution anyone considering placing their loved ones, especially people, in ShoreView Rehab Center on Brighton 3rd Street in Brooklyn, New York. Our experience was extremely difficult. My mother-law was transferred there on January 22nd, and by January 28th, she was gone. During this short time, we experienced a complete lack of attention and care. When the shift was with Russian-speaking staff, the situation was slightly better, but the rest of the time, the patients were practically ignored. For help, expect a very long wait or do everything yourself. There were no doctors on site—only a nurse practitioner. She didn't see my mother for five days, from the day she arrived. When nothing helped, she refused to contact her attending physician after I raised concerns about her condit

Shoreview nursing home has taken good care of my father for the four weeks he was there for rehabilitation. The only negative thing that I have to say is that they need more staff to make things flow easier. Other than the lack of nurses and cnas, I feel they treated my father with dignity and respect.
