Shiny Chompers Pediatric Dentistry

We love Shiny Chompers. Everyone there is amazing, from the front office staff to doctors. We are so grateful to have wonderful pediatric dentistry in Maryland. We love our dental hygienist, Miss. Kim, my kids have seen her for over ten years; she is lovely and patient. My son has autism; I still remember ten years ago when my son was so afraid to go to the Dental Clinic that I even had to hold his arms up so he could stay still. Now, my son has no problem with dental care at all; in fact, he is so excited every six months to go to the dentist because he can get his reward coin after it is done. We've been through cavities and dental work, I really love these dentists. --- Original review below I found a handful of dentists covered through my plan, but I really like to do my research when it comes to my girls, so I poured over reviews and credentials, and found these wonderful ladies! I was NOT disappointed. The hygenists were amazing, the dentists were involved, the place is designed to put kids at ease. They had TV screens on the ceilings. My daughter is overly sensitive to bright lights and sounds, "no problem!" and two pairs of sunglasses later she was good to go. I made a follow-up appt for one daughter and a new pt appt for another. I will be recommending

My daughter has been going here since 2020, and they are amazing! My little one has anxiety, and I love how they work with her and make her feel so comfortable. I previously gave Shiny Chompers 5 stars, but unfortunately, our experience has drastically changed. Due to repeated miscommunications from the office manager and office staff, we were ultimately denied the care we were scheduled and expecting to receive. Despite politely requesting to speak with a dentist or someone in upper management to resolve the issue, the office manager refused to connect us with anyone, after hanging up on us THREE times while trying to get better understanding. This lack of accountability and refusal to escalate a serious concern is deeply disappointing. We were loyal patients and had positive experiences in the past, but this situation has shown a clear breakdown in professionalism and respect for patients’ and needs.
