My father and I walked in on New Years eve. The front desk woman let us in, but didn't seem to acknowledge my father and I as she was on her phone. Was going to ask for a business card, but I don't believe she heard me. Seemed like a lot was going on in the lobby, so my father will try and come back next week to tour facility when it doesn't appear too chaotic. Was not keen about a couple of woman smoking outside the front door as my father has allergies. Walking into the lobby I did notice the vibrant shade of teal everywhere, gave it a bit of a whimsical feel. My father still wants to give this place a chance to tour, because a friend of his stayed here 2 years ago and said they were very good to him. Will change rating once my father revisits.

If the management was nice . They rather bark and micro manage cnas while the nurses do what they want very clicky upper management.. they rather hound you like u don’t do your job before they ask if u need help or if everything alright.. we are humans not bots !! Learn how to be civil before you start barking at people like they are scum on ya shoe!! Nurses won’t even answer a light that rings right next to their cart !! Disgusting behavior

Summary - this place is a legitimate health hazard. Please do a tour before thinking of moving a loved one here. The facility is very badly operated and it just keeps changing its name to avoid bad reviews. The other reviews are unfortunately right. However, I will add that the staff acts the way they do due to management not supporting them. After getting to know several of the staff members supporting my family member they have let me know why 1. The facility is extremely dirty, with mildew and urine smells emanating throughout the inside and outside of the building. As you walk the floors every single step is met by a "shtick" sound of floors that have not been cleaned in months. You can visibly see dirt stains all throughout. 2. if I could give less than one star I would. Facilities, old, nasty roach, infested, big water bugs no hot water for residence to have showers. Food looks like slop staff does not care about patients only there to get a check administration only shows up when something is wrong, or to defend the foolishness of the staff. The staff is very unprofessional, not only in their speaking to the individuals who are who are in the facility, but in the way they dress and in the way they show up the staff does not care administration cares less if you love the person who you are seeking to put here go somewhere else or risk them being sicker than they were before they went. It is common for patients to get sick and go back to this place and even EMS and the EMTs would rather send them somewhere else t

Sherwood was a very caring and passionate facility and the therapy team did a great job during my stay.
