Sherwood Acupuncture

A friend of mine referred me to Lori at Sherwood Acupuncture and I went to see her for plantar fasciitis. Lori is amazing! She's thorough, patient, and a great listener. The very first time I walked out of her clinic, I had the first relief I'd felt in weeks. Acupuncture takes time, so I've now seen her for six visits and I'm thrilled by the tiny amount of tenderness that's left. I love the minimal intervention (no drugs, no special orthotics, just acupuncture, stretching, and massage of the fascia). I'm so glad I've experienced this business. They will be my go-to place.

I had been suffering with severe sciatica for six months before coming to see Lori at Sherwood Acupuncture. I was nervous at first about the treatments. Lori put me at ease and was very easy to communicate with. She is a good listener and a very caring individual. After the first few visits Lori had my pain significantly relieved. I have come to eight visits now and I am feeling wonderful and back to walking and exercising again! I call Lori my magician. She helped me so much when nothing else I tried was helping, including physical therapy. I highly recommend giving Sherwood Acupuncture and Wellness a try if you are suffering with pain. Lori is a very skilled and experienced acupuncturist.

I've put off getting acupuncture for decades out of anxiety that it might be uncomfortable or wouldn't work for my particular issues. I wish I'd tried it sooner! I went to see Alison Healy, who was recommended to me by a friend, about several areas of chronic pain I've been dealing with for up to 15-20 years. Because I am privileged to have excellent health insurance, I can visit the office every week, and I've now been to the office for a couple of months. Not only has my pain been reduced by at least half, I enjoy the quiet, calm, comforting nature of the space. Everything is very clean and well maintained, and Alison has an excellent bedside manner, along with being very knowledgeable. She's explained many of the procedures and processes with me so I could be well informed, and she put
