My husband had a terrible accident at work. His eye ball is stitched along with several other eye injuries. He needed a contact bandage reapplied he was in excruciating pain. I was in a panic and called several other eye doctors. Not one of them would see him because of the severity of his eye injury and because we are already under the care of Wills Eye .Someone that I work with mentioned Dr Winn. I called her office explained our emergency and she took us right in. She is a blessing in disguise, professional and very compassionate to her patients. We can never thank her enough. I would highly recommend her. And my family is proud to call her our eye doctor. Thank you DR Winn

Dr. Winn is an excellent doctor. She explained everything she was doing, and took the time to explain diabetic retinopathy. I had a very short wait (5-10 minutes), and her staff was friendly and professional. They accommodated my schedule changes without any annoyance. She did try to outfit me with their glasses (as ALL OD offices do), and they were a couple hundred bucks, but when I said I couldn't afford it, she wrote the prescription down for me to shop elsewhere, along with a written estimate of what my glasses would cost, so I could accurately compare them to anything else I looked at elsewhere. I highly recommend her.

Dr. Winn is one of the best eye doctors I have ever been to. She is caring, professional and dedicated to her patients. I have been going to her for many years and highly recommend her. She has made sure I was taken care of for my cataracts, a detached retina and has delayed the onset of glaucoma with her treatment and diagnostic testing which is state of the art. I recently moved to the Pittsburgh area AND I still travel back to see her for my appointments! That's how much she cares and how much trust I have in her!!

I do not recommend anyone come here!! I went here as new patient a few weeks ago. At first the visit was fine. I was told I have dry eye and to take fish oil and a use a mask they sell as a warm compress to help with it. I trusted everything Dr. Winn said until I got my bill. It was $300 which I have never experienced at any eye doctor before. I was told the fish oil would $50 but all of a sudden it was $100. I made them take the fish oil and eye mask off and the bill was still $200! I wasn’t even buying contacts. They overcharged me about $40 for a contact evaluation and made me pay a fee to send my glasses out for lenses which I have never heard of. Dr. Winn told me I might get a $30 bill for a dry eye test she did. When I got the bill, it was $50 and they charged me for BOTH eyes. I onl

Dr. Winn is smart and patient. She is completely thorough and takes the time to explain all vision issues while adding great advise for general health. She even puts up with patients that stray to the "institutional eye care places" and then gratefully return. I highly recommend her.
