Sherman Oaks Hospital- Emergency Room

I'm giving 4 stars for the LONG wait but security guards, front desk lady all nice and nurses esp Anna super nice it took hours but I did see Dr. Law very nice he gave me a dose of the meds I needed & sent me home with the meds I needed. I will say the middle aged white guy who did my CT scan at midnight needs a shower and deodorant he was nice but knocked me over with BO please make sure employees don't smell worse than some patients. I think a nurse told me they only had 1 Dr. so I saw all empty beds & waiting room full maybe hire/staff more Drs for night shift. Other than those things I had a decent 4+ hours in the ER Thank you Anna & Dr. Law for listening to me and taking care of me.

This hospital is one of the worst I’ve ever been to. I visited for a severe ear infection, a sore throat with white lumps on my tonsils, and excruciating ear pain. My husband and I waited for two hours before being called in. When we were finally seen, we were met rudely by a nurse who seemed clueless about her job. While I was sitting there in pain, a very rude doctor named SHANDARI came into my room and asked, “What happened? Why are you even here???” I’ve never been greeted this way by an ER doctor, and it made me feel so unwelcome. No one asked me about my pain level or assured me that it would be okay, no strep test was done, NOTHING. The nurse returned with only one ibuprofen and one amoxicillin, which is an antibiotic and should be taken in a course to be effective. They didn’t pres

Had to go to the emergency room for some minor chest discomfort and difficulty of breathing. I read some of the reviews, and it had me slightly worried, but I can honestly say I have no idea what they experienced, but I had a wonderful experience! As soon as I got there I was checked in no later than twenty five minutes and all the nurses and doctors were extremely nice and helpful. They made sure that they were accurate with their checking and at the end, when they discharged me, they gave me all my test results to give to my doctor. I can honestly say if I ever had another emergency I will definitely trust them with my life.

I just left there right now, checked in to get Antibiotics because I have been feeling flu like symptoms for 2 months. I’ve been working but I haven’t had energy to work out for 2 months. I checked to Sherman Oaks hospital, and it was a breeze, I was seen right away, they took my blood and checked my heart, took my urine, and they even gave me IV, the service was very top notch. I was seen by Nuni the Rn, Dr Smith and Pac Jonathan, among others, I have to say that everyone was on point, very professional, concise, great bedside manners, excellent experience overall! Thank you for excellent service!

I have been coming here for 25 years…. The current staff is amazing and kind. Dr. David Matherly was kind and patient with me. He ordered all the tests I needed done and made me feel cared for. Nurses were great too.
