Dr. Keshishian performed my gastric sleeve in 2018. He is attentive, kind, and empathetic. I am forever grateful to have him as my surgeon. I heard many people say they can eat several hard boiled eggs immediately after surgery. I could barely eat half a hard boiled egg immediately after surgery. Now I can eat two eggs and I'm satisfied. Dr K performed the Dueodanal Switch procedure on me in Delano,Ca in 2004, he saved my life, I was 45 yrs old, and within I year, I felt better than when I was 25-30. His bedside manner, and honest, direct communication make for a very positive experience.

Dr. Keshishian is one of if not the best physician I have ever seen. His knowledge and understanding of what seemed so complex to me is incredible to witness. I am so grateful to have been under his care! It is so rare to find such a detail-oriented physician who looks at the bigger picture instead of having a narrow view on the problem. He is the definition of “treat the patient, not the numbers.”

Dr Ara was an instant yes for me. After meeting with a few other doctors, him and I immediately understood each other. I am so glad i trusted him with my surgery because it has been a year since then and i have never felt happier and healthier. The office staff is also very accommodating and knowledgeable and always available for any questions. Loved that i could call and ask if i had any concerns and if not Dr Ara himself then someone else was always there to help. Dr. K & his office are one of a kind!! I recently had my 2nd surgery with him & I couldn’t be happier! I had my weight loss surgery (sleeve) done by him back in 2017, with amazing results and being able to keep off over 100 pounds throughout all these years.
