Shawnee Family Dental

I recently decided to switch from a dentist's office that I was at for 10 years to Shawnee Family Dental, and I am so thankful I did! The staff was friendly and welcoming from the moment I walked in, creating a warm and comfortable atmosphere. The office is modern and spotlessly clean, which immediately put me at ease. Dr. Farahurt was thorough, professional, and took the time to explain all the procedures in detail, ensuring I felt informed and comfortable throughout my visit. I was especially impressed with their gentle approach during the treatment – I hardly felt any discomfort at all. I highly recommend this office to anyone looking for top-notch dental care. I give this Dental practice 5 stars. From the front office staff to the dentist there. Dr. Hurt (I give her 5 stars too) is who we see and she is an amazing Dentist. I have never had an issue with her. She has great bed side manners, has always explained what she is doing in detail and why. She is very gentle as well, she's informative and does a great job at easing any of my dental concerns. She is also my daughter's dentist. We have been in great hands. She comes highly recommended and I would recommend her to anyone looking for a dentist who puts the care of her patients 1st and foremost before anything.

***EDIT As on 6/20 due to the NEGLIGENCE of this practice I now have to have a BONE GRAFT on my tooth because my infection was let go for so long that is ate away at my bone!*** I really liked this office to begin with. I actually gave them a 5 start review at one time. The past several months I have been pretty disgruntled but continued seeing them for care. On 5/31/24 I was seen for some severe tooth pain. I have an intense pain tolerance and if I am in pain it is serious. More or less I was given a pamphlet for an endodontist and told "We don't know what is wrong. Call these guys and try wearing a mouth guard". Since then I got THREE second opinions. 2 Dentists and one endodontist - My tooth has a giant abscess and is infected. Dr. Hurt told me she had to consult a few dentists over

never coming here again, they had a dentist from the Carolinas that was visiting the office and did my fillings and wanted over 400 each. All the fillings needed replaced about 3 months later do to them falling out. At whole health they do great and their fliings and treatments last!

Best experience I've ever had at a Dentist office. Very caring people. I highly recommend them !!!!!
