Last year, I visited Rex ER late at night due to excruciating abdominal pain. I was told, I needed to have emergency surgery due to a life threatening issue. None of this was planned, but it just so happened that God blessed me with Dr. Weinreb to perform my surgery. I am grateful and thankful for his expertise both pre and post surgery. I was messed up when I found Dr Weinreb, I had a ruptured mesh that was partially removed, and multiple hernias coming out of my abdominal wall that was destroyed from the previous surgeries. Dr Weinreb repaired it all. I have a normal belly again, belly belts, no more daily pain, I can eat normal food, do physical work, and most importantly, I have my life back. Just had a laparascopic hernia repair from Dr Weinreb. In and out in 4 hours total, and very little post-surgery discomfort / pain. Staff was great and Dr Weinreb appears to have done a great job! Very knowledgeable, skilled surgeon, particularly for hernia repairs. Very glad I chose him and REX Surgical Center do do the procedure.

Had gallbladder & hernia surgery two weeks ago. Dr Weinreb & his teams from the office to the surgical facility have been professional, caring & helpful every step of the way. Providing info regarding what to expect, risks & care and answering additional questions I had.

My surgery (complex hernia repair of a 25-year old issue) had been deemed (in the past) as far too difficult, expensive, painful and protracted to be worth considering. Dr. Weinreb aced it. The surgery lasted 2 hours - I was out of the hospital the next day, and by the end of the first week/post-operation I was walking 4 miles. I cannot recommend anyone more highly.
