Sentara Vascular Specialists

Sentara Vascular has serious coordination issues with its patients, the scheduling department and it's physicians. Mine was a fairly routine, simple vein procedure. I received only 1 reminder from Sentara (which seemed unusual) for any the 4 office visits. When I showed up on scheduled day of surgery the doctor was not available. These things happen, but there was no attempt to to notify me that the doctor was unavailable prior to my 70 minute drive to the office. For the rescheduled surgery, I called the day before and got an affirmation from the scheduler but upon arrival, the doctor once again had a schedule issue. Avoid Sentara Vascular if possible and if not, confirm, as much as the system permits - which isn't saying much in my experience.

They were great. Gave me a quote over the phone. Appointment was on time, Joy was a friendly, professional technician. They did 2 treatments for the price of one since I didn’t need a lot of product that reduces spider veins. Good results.

Call center scheduler is so nasty and front desk also, they shouldn't work with public If they are not a people person. I will not call them or visit their office with nasty attitude people. Learn how to talk to people. And don't get mad if I ask too many questions
