This the third time I've had a procedure done at this facility. Everyone is professional, kind and the atmosphere is so relaxing, Everyone is very knowledgeable and helpful, I would recommend this facility. If I could I would treat them all to lunch. They are all the best, from the nurse that checks you in the nurse that wheels you to your car.Thanks

My experience at Sentará in Woodbridge was good. That is not my local hospital and was having a stroke. I was transported to Sentará via ambulance and the ER staff took my information off my medical alert bracelet initially. Once I was able to communicate some, they were able to treat me. I am legally blind as well so that probably confused them at first. I was in ICU and then the cardiac unit. Overall, my stay went well. Everyone from the doctors to housekeeping were very pleasant. I did not care for the food but hey, it’s hospital food. For a hospital that did not have experience with me, they all did extremely well.

Yesterday, I accompanied my sister to the emergency room. We waited for over an hour and a half, but eventually we were admitted. The staff treated my sister with great care and professionalism. They completed all the necessary procedures efficiently, and the overall quality of service was excellent. I prefer this hospital over Inova Emergency because the medical team here is more focused on each patient’s case once inside the clinic. They carry out all procedures promptly and with attention to detail.

Hospital is good, but I felt racially targeted by a security officer named Tom McCow. I discharged at 3am but I still fell faint from the meds. I was not ready to leave and it was late in the night, so I took a nap in the lobby until I felt better. I was waken by him around 7am and told by him that I couldn’t sleep, so I left. I’m not familiar with the hospital so I started walking and he said I was going the wrong direction. So I turn around and walked the opposite way. I’m walking and stop for a moment to send a text message. When I turned around the security officer was there behind me following me. I was shocked . When I asked him why, he said it’s to make sure you leave the property because you are trespassing. Mind you. I had just discharged at 3am and already began leaving. I asked

My experience with Sentara is always good and my recent visit with the Infusion Center was great. They are always professional, patient and considerate with making me feel at ease with my issue. Mary and the IV nurse were exceptional and my thanks to them!
