Our experience at this critical care hospital will forever remain in our hearts. When my son was at his most vulnerable, the entire team surrounded him with exceptional medical care, compassion, and humanity. The staff consistently treated us with empathy, kept us informed, and most importantly, gave us hope regarding his prognosis when we desperately needed it. Every doctor, nurse, and staff member showed genuine concern—not just for my son’s recovery, but for our emotional well-being as a family. We are deeply thankful for the quality of care, the professionalism, and the kindness we received during such a life-changing time.

I was here for 6 weeks of post-operative wound care. Every day, I was treated by Amanda, an incredible wound care nurse, and by Dr. Gustafson, a wound care doctor. They worked miracles with their treatment, which included using a wound vac and a MatriStem treatment that dramatically accelerated tissue regeneration in my wound. These folks are top-notch experts at treating complex and challenging wounds. Highest possible recommendation. All of the staff was attentive, caring, and professional. A shout-out to RNs Jasmine and Joyce, OT specialist Reggie, and CNAs Amaya and Robert - among many others! When I was discharged, I felt like I was leaving my friends, Located on the Tucson Medical Center campus, so easy access to more advanced care if needed. The outstanding care by Select staff m

I have so many good things to say about my husband, Pete’s 4 week stay at Select Specialy Hospital. It was the most compassionate, coordinated, amazing care that anyone could ask for. He was in critical condition with a lung infection when he was admitted there as a step down from the hospital. It was a rocky road for a while but almost everyone there from the Unit Assistant to the CEO got to know him and was involved in his care and recovery. Besides being very knowlegable about his medical status, they were so kind and helpful. Everyone had sincere concern when Pete had a setback of acute delerium and made sure they addressed it with the doctors. Then they all rejoiced with us when he started improving. They felt like a big family, helping each other out as needed and dealing with my fa

I can’t say enough good things about Select Specialty Hospital. They are doing an amazing, amazing job with my son’s care. The physical therapy team is absolutely on point, and the wound care nurse is nothing short of amazing. The nurses and CNAs are truly wonderful—caring, attentive, and dedicated. My son is healing fast thanks to their all-around great care. This place provides A-class treatment, and I am beyond grateful for everything they’ve done

Select Specialty East location for the most part has a caring staff. There was one nurse who should have been fired, but was just removed from my husband’s room. My husband has a severely injured shoulder from the accident he sustained. His bone is protruding under his skin. When I brought it to the attention of several different nurses, as well as physical therapist and occupational therapist, there wasn’t much attention paid to it. Thankfully at my husband’s new facility, a nurse listened immediately and asked a doctor to place an X-ray order which they did. Results came back as a grade 5 separation of the shoulder which is severe. The communication between staff needs to improve as well as listening to family/friends of the patients.
