Select Specialty Hospital - Morgantown

Very good care. Staff all very nice and professional. I have been in Mon for therapy and my lung is collapsed. Always checking in with me and making sure I have everything I need. Love the hospital and every department is wonderful!

My stepfather was transferred to Select Specialty Hospital after a stay at Mon General Hospital. From the very first day, the staff has been amazing!!! From CEO Dan Dunmyer, who patiently listened to my concerns and answered my questions on the first day, to the Doctors, Nurses, Aides, Food Services, Cleaning Staff...absolutely everyone we came in contact with was friendly, professional and sincere. They were great about keeping the family informed throughout the stay. The single greatest service they provided was the genuine respect and concern they showed for my stepfather...it is deeply appreciated by our entire family. I highly recommend Select Specialty Hospital when a family member needs quality care from quality people. I sincerely thank the entire staff.

My hubby was in ICU for 41 days and was then transferred to Select Specialty Hospital in Morgantown (inside Mon General Hospital). Within 2 weeks they had his trach removed, he was eating anything he wanted,and he was speaking. I highly recommend this facility. Dan the CEO is so kind and comes weekly to visit,if there are any issues he takes care of them ASAP. The nurses and aides are friendly and helpful, not just to the patient but the family as well.We are pleased with my husband's time here and couldn't believe how quickly he progressed.We couldn't be more pleased.

This place has been amazing for my mother and my family! My mom had open heart surgery and was in CCU for 3 weeks she had many complications along the way. Once released from CCU she was blessed to be moved to the specialty hospital here at mon general. She has had wonderful nurses, aides, respiratory therapist and many more wonderful people that actually care for their patients! She came here on a ventilator they all worked hard to get her off the ventilator and getting stronger everyday! From the bottom of our hearts we want to thank each and every one of them! Wonderful place with wonderful people!

Not very impressed so far with the care that we have received with my father-in-law. My husband just had a meeting with his therapist, doctor, nurse practitioner, nutritionist, and anybody else that would be helping him during his stay, just after a week of being there. This should have been done immediately upon his arrival. Also, the meeting only took place because my husband had to put the pressure on them to get more information about his father as the communications in this hospital is very, very poor. Even after today’s meetings, when my husband called to see the progress of how his dad was doing with the evening nurses, , we get he’s” in good spirits” or “he’s eating like a bird” is not the feedback we are needing. They also didn’t know if he even have been delivered his dinne
