Called to let them know I would be a little late for my appointment due to my blood sugar being low this morning. The receptionist said that would be fine. I get there only to be told that not only can I not go back for my appointment but they consider it a no show and I can not reschedule with them and must find a new doctor. EVEN THOUGH I called ahead. Never seen a doctor fire a patient before. It was an appointment I desperately needed due to my health. Absolutely find any other doctor’s office besides this one. What a horrible place.

I have been to dr. Hamlett once because I have a pituitary tumor which needs to be monitored yearly. My first appointment I was very scared although I know it can be a common thing I still had just got told I had a brain tumor and he was very dismissive about my concerns. I go to check out and they schedule my appointment for a year later. Come time for this appointment I spoke to them the day before stating I wasn’t sure if I would make it as my son was sick but I would call in the morning to let them know for sure. I called the next morning and rescheduled. (Did my due diligence so this shouldn’t have counted against me.) my next appointment I did miss because life happened and I forgot to call them. They never once called me after that. So I missed ONE appointment and got a letter that

I saw the NP and was very disappointed. She downplayed all my symptoms and shut down my questions I had about my treatment. She literally rolled her eyes at me when I brought up what a different doctor suggested I do to treat my Hashimoto's. All she suggested for me to do was ro continue to do what I was already doing. Then, over six months later, I get call from a collection agency stating that my bill with this office was in collections. I never received a bill because they had sent it to an address I hadn't lived at in 2 years. Horrible experience!

I had a bad experience today. The new receptionist wasn't friendly until her trainer came in, the nurse scolded me for not being there 20 minutes earlier, but I drove an hour and was in a downpour part of the way. The check in up front took 10 minutes. I was only 10 minutes after check in time. Then the Dr was friendly at first but couldn't do my ultra sound due to surgery. So after expressing my concerns, I asked why I was there and he said, "Because I need to get paid. I don't do this for my health!" I was shocked since I was just wanting to know when I would get my test, details, etc. He said this is the way it works. I thought the whole experience was negative, plus the lady who was setting up next appointments. Couldn't get her to understand that I needed an ultra sound now,

Been seeing Dr. Hamlett for maybe 3-4 years. He personally had his own health issues couple years ago which caused my appointments to be rescheduled couple times-this year had to reschedule because it was in conflict with his vacation-even though I had the appointment months before. . . Had to reschedule just to get blood work completed ended up going to PC doctor to get the actual blood work I wanted. Last week I got delayed for my 1030 appointment, was there at 1038 - walked by the good Doctor Hamlett in the hallway over hearing him talking about his Son’s Sports to two other patients… so thinking no problem since the Doctor has time to converse with others in the hall about spots must not be too busy - go to check in for my appointment only to be turned away because I had not arrived 10
