Sea Island Dentistry PC

This was my initial visit and it went really well. My previous dentist had suggested several “add on” options which made me uncomfortable and pressured. I received X-rays , cleaning and exam and was given options and explained in detail a follow up plan. The entire staff was extremely friendly and make sure that your comfort is a priority. Thank you to Dr. Farnsworth and staff for a positive experience!

Yesterday was the best experience ever! I cracked my tooth on Christmas Eve and I called the dentist on call and they met me at the dentist office at 7:00 AM. Mrs. Jeannette met me with a smile and was able to get me fixed up. She was extremely friendly and comforting. Sea Island Dentistry is simply the best! I have been a loyal customer for over 15 years!

I am disappointed with the level of customer service I received during a recent phone call with Sea Island Dentistry. My intention was simply to find out whether the office accepts Humana insurance, as I am considering changing insurance carriers and wanted to ensure compatibility with their practice. Unfortunately, the staff member I spoke with was unwilling to assist me. Although she stated that the office accepts “hundreds of insurances,” she was unable—or unwilling—to check whether Humana was one of them. Rather than offering to verify the information or guide me on how to find the answer, she became dismissive and rude, which was both surprising and unnecessary. What a wonderful experience. From the time I entered the door I was met with extraordinary customer service , professionalism, and hospitality. What a welcoming environment. Another word that comes to mind is accommodating. I totally wrote down the wrong date in my calendar, and missed my appointment the day before; however after traveling one hour to get there, they worked me into their schedule. I am extremely grateful. They also worked with me on setting appointments to start my dental work before I return to work in a few weeks. I will admit that I neglect dental visits because of the absence of customer service and overall experiences. This time I'm looking forward to getting the dental work I need.

I was trying to still give this dentistry a try after my dental hygienist retired but I have grown to not like this dentistry at all. The dental hygienist that replaced her talks so much overwhelmed me…so I got a new one and she was okay but I don’t like how Dr. Kyle takes his sweet time to come check you out when he knows he’s not getting any money from you. Which makes me feel like my time is not valuable when I make sure I make my appointments on time. I will be going to a new practice after this.
