Schuylkill Dental Medicine

Sadly very disappointed in the treatment I received at this office. Waited almost 2 months for the appointment and when scheduling the appointment told the scheduler that I had 2 insurances. On the day of my appointment, I got to the office approximately 15 minutes before my appointment and sat and waited until they took 4 patients back who had come after me prior to even acknowledging that I was there for my appointment. When finally speaking to the receptionist I was told that I would have to pay for my appointment even though I had 2 insurances to cover the appointment. I was then told I needed to speak to the billing manager who refused to process a claim to my primary insurance which they did not participate with. I had a crown put on. They told me when I got it that if I had any problems within the 1st year, it would be covered by warranty. It fell out twice. I followed all directions in caring for it. But it fell out twice. I had to go back to get it re cemented in. They charged me a a fee for the dentist when they re cemented it. That is ridiculous. The staff was very condescending when speaking to them about this as well. I will be finding a new dental practice.

Took a month to get an appointment. I went in for a broken tooth. The dentist spent more time telling me what I should have done instead of actually doing something to help. All I got from them is "we don't do what you need here" and sent me away with a referral card. How about filling the other cavities that you were so fast to point out or at least do a cleaning. Make it seem like I didn't waste my time to come in and see you. How about just doing what a dentist should do and quit sending people away for someone else to deal with it. I was told that if I was unhappy I was free to find another dentist. I'm not unhappy with Schuylkill Dental. Just pissed off about the way this was handled.

I had been going to this dental practice since Dr. Wasilewski opened it on 4th street but it has certainly gone downhill. I switched dentists after the rude office manager told me it wasn’t her job when I had a question about my dental insurance coverage but that’s not the worst thing. Last time I was there I was told I had 2 cavities and they would need to be filled in 2 separate visits, even though both were small and on the insides of two neighboring teeth. Imagine my surprise, and disgust, when my new dentist, after taking new X-rays, told me I have only 1. Another telltale sign it’s not a good place is that only one or two of the staff that had been there forever are still there.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr Kudryk and his staff! This office is truly wonderful. The staff is caring and they have an excellent work flow that gets you in and out of the office. I am one who hates dentist appointments but I actually enjoy going in to see the staff and converse with them! I highly recommend this office to those looking for a dentist!
