Schnucks Harvester Square

Typical Schnucks - clean with friendly, helpful staff. Sadly, though when I shop here it feels like a throwback to a store in the big 80s. They are seriously lacking in gluten-free, organic, & plant-based foods. The few items they do have are priced as if they were a luxury item. A small jar of primal kitchen avocado oil mayonnaise was $12! Absolutely insane. They have the highly processed mainstream brands of plant milk, but hardly any that are clean and organic. The produce is fresh but very basic. It's a nice enough store and it's good for pantry items and emergency runs but there’s no way I can make this my regular store. Absolutely ridiculous experience, watched three cashiers walk past the single cashier before two of them got told to go help her by the manager. Ridiculous customer service. If you don’t want to be a cashier then don’t apply for the job. We are all trying to make ends meet, it’s not an excuse to avoid helping your teammates.

Okay so... We are used to the Lake St Louis location, but this one has taken some getting use to. So darn not to bad but we were not able to find some basic essentials for our home, like original Chick Fil A Sauce. Only other flavors were available and I found that weird. Same with Kinder's sauces. But I understand not room for to many options.

This Schnucks acts like it's afraid to make enough of anything or sell enough of anything that people need. They're always out of stock of literally everything. They never have enough Schnucks meat. I don't want to buy brand name meat, I want the store name Schnucks pork, beef, chicken, and other things. I don't understand how hard it is to have enough breakfast sausage in stock. If you are constantly running out of these staple items every single week, why can't you make more?? Are you that afraid of possibly any amount of waste? There are literally never any donuts past noon, but other Schnucks stores are somehow able to keep donuts in stock later in the day.
