Dr. Hugo Zegarra was the absolute best dental professional that I have ever encountered in my 70 plus years. He did a superb job on my implant. And his staff complimented his work with efficiency and care during the procedure. I would highly recommend him.

I always have very positive experiences with dental hygienist Karly. She is always kind, patient, and genuinely compassionate taking the time to explain every step of the cleaning process and makes sure I am comfortable as possible throughout the visit. On this particular appointment visit, I unfortunately had a slightly loose front tooth and another one chipped. I was indeed concerned and quite anxious, but she took the time to first show compassion and listen, then assessed my teeth and gums and lastly educated me on what she found and what could be done. Needless to say, afterwards I was feeling better knowing what was going on with my gums and teeth, as Googling can have a person thinking all kinds of crazy thoughts. Sarasota Periodontal at Lakewood Ranch is great! The ladies at both check in & check out are welcoming, helpful and lovely people. The hygienists are professional, kind and very knowledgeable. Dr Gonzalez is not only professional and kind, he is highly skilled-my surgery was pretty much pain free. That is amazing!
